Upon your arrival at the Entebbe airport, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to Kasese town passing through Mbarara town where you will have a stopover to have your lunch. Proceed with your journey passing through the beautiful landscapes, tea, and banana plantations, and finally, you will be arriving in the late evening. Check-in at your lodge, have dinner, and have an overnight stay.

After enjoying your morning breakfast, you will head to Park headquarters at Nyakalengija 1646m where you will receive the rules and regulations of hiking the mountain. The hike will start through the plantations and habitats of the Bakonjo people slowly coming across the elephant grass and the garden plots as you follow the Mobuku River.
During this trek, you will come across several animals such as the colobus monkeys, and different bird species. This trek will take you over 5 to 6 hours to reach Nyabitaba hut.

After having your morning breakfast, organize and start descending to the ridge of Mubuku Riveras you climb through the Bamboo forest towards John Matte Hut.
Relax to have your lunch and start ascending along the north side of the Bujuku River through the giant heather forest. This will take you over 1 to 2 hours.

After enjoying your morning breakfast, you will continue with your journey as you descend to Nyabitaba hut.

Enjoy your morning breakfast, and start your hiking to Nyabitaba hut heading to Nyakalengija road. This will take you over 2 hours. Continue as you descend steeply off the ridge and enter the warm rainforest. While here, you will see several animals such as monkeys and different bird species. Embark on your journey back to Kampala with a stop over in Mbarara to have lunch. Continue with your journey and arrive in Kampala late to have your flight back home.
